Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 can tomato sauce (15 oz)
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 8 oz egg noodles
  • 1 medium onion chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • to taste salt
  • to taste black pepper

Instructions: 

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Cook the egg noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  • In a skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain any excess fat.
  • Add the chopped onion and minced garlic to the skillet. Cook until the onion is soft.
  • Stir in the tomato sauce, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 5 minutes.
  • In a large bowl, combine the cooked noodles, sour cream, and half of the shredded cheese.
  • In a baking dish, layer half of the noodle mixture, then the beef mixture, and top with the remaining noodle mixture.
  • Sprinkle the remaining shredded cheese on top.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
