ranch dressing mix

crushed cornflakes

butter, melted

Instructions:
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a large mixing bowl, combine potatoes, sour cream, cheddar cheese, ranch dressing mix, and milk. Mix well.
Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish.
In a small bowl, combine crushed cornflakes and melted butter. Sprinkle over the potato mixture.
Bake for 45 minutes or until the top is golden brown and the potatoes are tender.
Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes:
This casserole can be made a day ahead and refrigerated. Just add an extra 10 minutes to the baking time if baking from cold.
