Ingredients:

  • 4 cups Leftover mashed potatoes
  • 1 cup Shredded cheese cheddar or your choice
  • 1/2 cup Sour cream
  • 1/4 cup Milk
  • 2 tablespoons Butter melted
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons Chopped chives optional, for garnish

Instructions: 

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the mashed potatoes, shredded cheese, sour cream, milk, melted butter, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.
  • Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish and spread it out evenly.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes, or until the top is golden and bubbly.
  • Garnish with chopped chives if desired and serve hot.

Notes:

This casserole is a great way to use up leftover mashed potatoes and can be customized with your favorite add-ins like bacon or green onions.
