Instructions:
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
In a mixing bowl, combine the heavy cream, shredded cheddar cheese, garlic powder, and onion powder. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Place the sliced smoked sausage and steamed broccoli florets in a baking dish.
Pour the cream mixture over the sausage and broccoli, making sure everything is well coated.
Bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes, or until the casserole is bubbly and the cheese is melted and golden brown.
Let the casserole cool for a few minutes before serving.
