Ingredients:

  • 1 lb Ground Beef
  • 1 cup Uncooked Rice
  • 2 cups Bell Peppers, chopped
  • 1 cup Onion, chopped
  • 2 cups Tomato Sauce
  • 1 cup Shredded Cheese
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Black Pepper

Instructions: 

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a skillet, cook ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
  • Add chopped bell peppers and onions to the skillet. Cook until softened.
  • Stir in uncooked rice, tomato sauce, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.
  • Transfer mixture to a baking dish. Cover with foil and bake for 45 minutes.
  • Remove foil, sprinkle shredded cheese on top, and bake for an additional 10 minutes, or until cheese is melted and bubbly.
  • Let cool for a few minutes before serving.

This casserole is a great way to enjoy the flavors of stuffed peppers without the hassle of stuffing them.
