Instructions:
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
In a skillet, cook ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
Add chopped bell peppers and onions to the skillet. Cook until softened.
Stir in uncooked rice, tomato sauce, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.
Transfer mixture to a baking dish. Cover with foil and bake for 45 minutes.
Remove foil, sprinkle shredded cheese on top, and bake for an additional 10 minutes, or until cheese is melted and bubbly.
Let cool for a few minutes before serving.

This casserole is a great way to enjoy the flavors of stuffed peppers without the hassle of stuffing them.
