Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 1 lb Ground Beef
  • 4 cups Mashed Potatoes
  • 1 cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese
  • 1 medium Onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp Olive Oil
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Black Pepper

Instructions: 

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add chopped onion and minced garlic, cook until softened.
  • Add ground beef to the skillet, cook until browned. Season with salt and pepper.
  • Transfer the beef mixture to a baking dish. Spread mashed potatoes evenly over the top.
  • Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese on top of the mashed potatoes.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  • Let the casserole cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes:

Feel free to add vegetables like peas or carrots for extra nutrition.
