Instructions:
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a mixing bowl, combine sugar and flour. Add the drained pineapple chunks and mix well.
Stir in the shredded cheddar cheese.
Pour the mixture into a greased baking dish.
In another bowl, combine the crushed Ritz crackers and melted butter. Sprinkle this mixture evenly over the pineapple mixture.
Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and bubbly.
Let cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes:
This dish pairs well with ham or turkey.
