onion, chopped

garlic, minced

cheddar cheese, shredded

breadcrumbs

milk

butter
to taste
salt and pepper
Instructions:
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a large pot, boil the collard greens for 10 minutes. Drain and set aside.
In a skillet, sauté the onion and garlic in butter until soft.
In a mixing bowl, combine the collard greens, sautéed onions and garlic, milk, salt, and pepper.
Transfer the mixture to a baking dish. Top with shredded cheddar cheese and breadcrumbs.
Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the top is golden brown.
Notes:
For a spicier version, add some red pepper flakes to the mixture.
