Turkey Tetrazzini Casserole Recipe

Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 12 oz spaghetti uncooked
  • 2 cups cooked turkey shredded
  • 1 cup sliced mushrooms
  • 1 cup peas frozen
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese divided
  • to taste salt and pepper

Instructions: 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Cook spaghetti according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
  • In a large pot, melt butter over medium heat. Add flour and whisk until smooth.
  • Gradually whisk in chicken broth and cream. Cook, whisking constantly, until thickened.
  • Stir in 1/2 cup of Parmesan cheese, salt, and pepper. Remove from heat.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine cooked spaghetti, turkey, mushrooms, peas, and sauce. Mix well.
  • Transfer mixture to a baking dish. Sprinkle remaining Parmesan cheese on top.
  • Bake for 30 minutes or until bubbly and golden brown.

Notes:

Great way to use up leftover turkey!
