Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 1 lb Italian sausage casings removed
  • 2 cups Yellow squash sliced
  • 1 cup Onion chopped
  • 1 cup Cheddar cheese shredded
  • 1 cup Breadcrumbs
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Black pepper

Instructions: 

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a skillet, cook the sausage over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
  • Add the sliced squash and chopped onion to the skillet. Cook until tender.
  • Transfer the sausage and vegetable mixture to a baking dish. Sprinkle with shredded cheddar cheese and breadcrumbs.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes or until the top is golden brown.
  • Season with salt and black pepper to taste. Serve warm.

Notes:

Feel free to add other vegetables like zucchini or bell peppers.
