Instructions:
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a large saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the flour and cook, stirring constantly, for about 2 minutes.
Gradually whisk in the milk and cream, cooking until the mixture thickens and comes to a boil.
Stir in the sherry, salt, paprika, and cayenne pepper. Add the shrimp and scallops, cooking until the seafood is just opaque, about 5 minutes.
Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, until bubbly and golden on top.
Let the casserole rest for a few minutes before serving.
Notes:
This dish pairs well with a crisp green salad and a glass of white wine.
