Ingredients:

  • 12 oz Rotini pasta
  • 1 lb Ground beef
  • 1 jar Marinara sauce (24 oz)
  • 2 cups Shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup Grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp Garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Onion powder
  • 1 tsp Dried oregano
  • 1 tsp Dried basil
  • to taste Salt and pepper

Instructions: 

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Cook the rotini pasta according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  • In a large saucepan, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain any excess fat.
  • Add the marinara sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, dried oregano, and dried basil to the ground beef. Stir to combine and let simmer for 5 minutes.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked rotini pasta, meat sauce, and half of the shredded mozzarella cheese. Mix well.
  • Transfer the mixture to a baking dish. Top with the remaining mozzarella cheese and grated Parmesan cheese.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  • Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy!

Notes:

This casserole can be made ahead and refrigerated. Just bake it when you're ready to eat.
