Instructions:
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
Cook macaroni according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Stir in flour and cook for 1-2 minutes. Gradually whisk in milk and cook until thickened.
Remove from heat and stir in 1 1/2 cups of cheese until melted. Season with salt and pepper.
In a large mixing bowl, combine cooked macaroni, ham, and cheese sauce. Mix well.
Transfer mixture to a baking dish. Sprinkle remaining cheese on top.
Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until bubbly and golden brown on top.
Let cool slightly before serving.
Notes:
You can add some breadcrumbs on top for extra crunch.
