Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 1 loaf French bread cut into cubes
  • 1 cup Cranberries fresh or frozen
  • 8 Eggs
  • 2 cups Milk
  • 1 cup Heavy cream
  • 1 tsp Vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup Sugar
  • 1/2 tsp Cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp Nutmeg

Instructions: 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Grease a baking dish and place the bread cubes and cranberries in it.
  • In a mixing bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, heavy cream, vanilla extract, sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
  • Pour the egg mixture over the bread and cranberries, making sure everything is well-coated.
  • Bake for 45 minutes or until the top is golden brown and the center is set.
  • Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes:

Great for holiday breakfasts or brunches. Serve with maple syrup or powdered sugar.
