Instructions:
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
In a skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
Add the chopped onion, green bell pepper, and garlic to the skillet. Cook until softened.
Stir in the chili beans, diced tomatoes, salt, and black pepper. Simmer for 10 minutes.
Transfer the mixture to a baking dish. Top with shredded cheddar cheese and frozen tater tots.
Bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes, or until the tater tots are golden brown and crispy.
Let cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes:
Feel free to add jalapeños for an extra kick!
