ricotta cheese

Parmesan cheese, grated

garlic, minced

dried oregano

tsp
dried basil
to taste
salt and pepper
Instructions:
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
Cook the ziti pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
In a large pot, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and cook until fragrant.
Add ground beef to the pot and cook until browned. Drain excess fat.
Stir in marinara sauce, dried oregano, and dried basil. Simmer for 10 minutes.
In a mixing bowl, combine ricotta cheese, half of the mozzarella cheese, and half of the Parmesan cheese.
In a baking dish, layer half of the cooked ziti, half of the meat sauce, and the ricotta cheese mixture. Repeat the layers.
Top with the remaining mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Let it cool for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy!
Notes:
This casserole can be made ahead and refrigerated. Just bake it when you're ready to eat.
