Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 1 lb asparagus trimmed and cut into 2-inch pieces
  • 6 slices bacon cooked and crumbled
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper

Instructions: 

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a frying pan, cook the bacon until crispy. Remove and crumble.
  • In a baking dish, layer the asparagus, crumbled bacon, and shredded cheddar cheese.
  • In a bowl, mix the heavy cream, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Pour over the asparagus mixture.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes or until the top is golden and bubbly.

Notes:

For a spicier kick, add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the cream mixture.
