Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 1 loaf French bread cut into cubes
  • 1.5 cups Mixed berries fresh or frozen
  • 8 Eggs
  • 2 cups Milk
  • 1 tsp Vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup Maple syrup
  • 1 tsp Ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp Salt

Instructions: 

  • 1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • 2. Grease a baking dish and place the cubed French bread in it.
  • 3. Sprinkle the mixed berries evenly over the bread.
  • 4. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, vanilla extract, maple syrup, ground cinnamon, and salt.
  • 5. Pour the egg mixture over the bread and berries, making sure everything is evenly coated.
  • 6. Let it sit for about 10 minutes to allow the bread to soak up the mixture.
  • 7. Bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes or until the top is golden brown and the casserole is set.
  • 8. Let it cool for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy!

Notes:

Feel free to use any type of berries you like. You can also add a dusting of powdered sugar on top before serving.
