Salt and pepper
Instructions:
1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
2. Cook the ziti pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
3. In a saucepan, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain any excess fat.
4. Add the marinara sauce to the ground beef and stir to combine. Simmer for 5 minutes.
5. In a mixing bowl, combine the ricotta cheese, 1 cup of mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
6. In a baking dish, layer half of the cooked ziti, half of the meat sauce, and half of the cheese mixture. Repeat the layers.
7. Top with the remaining 1 cup of mozzarella cheese.
8. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
9. Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes:
This baked ziti casserole is perfect for meal prep and can be frozen for later use.
