Ingredients:

  • 6 cups Apples, peeled and sliced
  • 1 cup Granulated Sugar
  • 1 tsp Ground Cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp Ground Nutmeg
  • 1 cup All-purpose Flour
  • 1 cup Rolled Oats
  • 1/2 cup Butter, melted

Instructions: 

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the apples, granulated sugar, ground cinnamon, and ground nutmeg. Toss to coat the apples evenly.
  • Transfer the apple mixture to a baking dish and spread it out evenly.
  • In another bowl, mix together the flour, rolled oats, and melted butter until crumbly.
  • Sprinkle the oat mixture evenly over the apples in the baking dish.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the apples are tender.
  • Let it cool slightly before serving. Enjoy!

Notes:

For a twist, try adding a handful of chopped nuts to the oat mixture.
