Instructions:
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt.
In another bowl, whisk together the milk, egg, and vanilla extract.
Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until just combined.
Fold in the diced apples and melted butter.
Pour the mixture into a greased baking dish.
Bake for 45 minutes or until golden brown and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Let it cool for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy!
Notes:
This apple fritter casserole is best served warm and can be topped with a drizzle of icing or a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
