Marinara Sauce
Instructions:
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
In a saucepan, bring water to a boil. Add salt and slowly whisk in the polenta.
Reduce heat and cook, stirring frequently, until thickened, about 15 minutes.
Stir in butter and half of the shredded cheese.
Pour the polenta into a greased baking dish and spread evenly.
Top with marinara sauce and remaining cheese.
Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, until bubbly and golden.
Let cool slightly before serving.
Notes:
Feel free to add cooked vegetables or meats to the casserole for extra flavor.
