Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 1 cup Polenta
  • 4 cups Water
  • 1 cup Shredded Cheese
  • 1 tbsp Butter
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 cup Marinara Sauce

Instructions: 

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a saucepan, bring water to a boil. Add salt and slowly whisk in the polenta.
  • Reduce heat and cook, stirring frequently, until thickened, about 15 minutes.
  • Stir in butter and half of the shredded cheese.
  • Pour the polenta into a greased baking dish and spread evenly.
  • Top with marinara sauce and remaining cheese.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, until bubbly and golden.
  • Let cool slightly before serving.

Notes:

Feel free to add cooked vegetables or meats to the casserole for extra flavor.
