Instructions:
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
In a large skillet, cook the ground beef and onion over medium heat until the beef is no longer pink. Drain any excess fat.
In a mixing bowl, combine the cooked beef mixture, cream of mushroom soup, milk, and half of the shredded cheese. Mix well.
Spread the mixture into a baking dish. Top with an even layer of tater tots.
Bake in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes, until the tater tots are golden brown and crispy.
Sprinkle the remaining shredded cheese on top and bake for an additional 5 minutes, or until the cheese is melted.
Let the casserole cool for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy!
