Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 cup chopped onion
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup (10.75 oz)
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 8 oz egg noodles cooked and drained
  • to taste salt and pepper

Instructions: 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a skillet, cook ground beef and onion over medium heat until meat is no longer pink; drain.
  • Stir in soup and sour cream; heat through.
  • In a greased 2-qt. baking dish, layer half of the noodles, beef mixture, and cheese. Repeat layers.
  • Bake, uncovered, for 30-35 minutes or until heated through and cheese is melted.

Notes:

Feel free to add mushrooms or other veggies to the beef mixture for extra flavor.
