Ingredients:

  • 4 cups shredded potatoes
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 0.5 cup chopped onion
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 0.25 cup melted butter
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions: 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large bowl, mix together shredded potatoes, cheddar cheese, chopped onion, sour cream, cream of chicken soup, melted butter, salt, and pepper.
  • Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes, or until the top is golden brown.

Notes:

Feel free to add some cooked bacon bits or chopped green onions for extra flavor.
