Ingredients:

  • 1 package frozen pierogi about 16 oz
  • 1 lb smoked sausage sliced
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup chopped onion
  • 1 tbsp butter

Instructions: 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add chopped onion and cook until softened.
  • Add sliced smoked sausage to the skillet and cook until browned.
  • In a large bowl, combine cooked sausage and onions, frozen pierogi, sour cream, and shredded cheddar cheese. Mix well.
  • Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and spread evenly.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes, or until bubbly and golden brown on top.
  • Let cool for a few minutes before serving.
