Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 4 bell peppers halved and seeded
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 cup cooked rice
  • 1 cup shredded cheese cheddar or mozzarella
  • 1 can tomato sauce 15 oz
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp garlic powder

Instructions: 

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a large skillet, cook ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine cooked beef, rice, tomato sauce, salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  • Stuff bell pepper halves with the beef mixture and place in a baking dish.
  • Top with shredded cheese.
  • Bake in preheated oven for 30-40 minutes, until peppers are tender and cheese is melted and bubbly.

Notes:

Feel free to use any type of cheese you like.
