Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 can diced tomatoes drained
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 can refrigerated biscuit dough cut into quarters
  • 1 small onion chopped
  • 1 cup ketchup
  • 1 tbsp mustard

Instructions: 

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a skillet, cook the ground beef and chopped onion over medium heat until the beef is browned. Drain any excess fat.
  • Add the diced tomatoes, ketchup, and mustard to the skillet. Stir to combine and let it simmer for a few minutes.
  • Transfer the beef mixture to a baking dish. Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese on top.
  • Place the biscuit dough quarters evenly over the cheese layer.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the biscuits are golden brown and cooked through.
  • Let the casserole cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes:

Feel free to add pickles or other favorite burger toppings before baking.
