Ingredients:

  • 12 oz bow tie pasta uncooked
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 jar marinara sauce 24 oz
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • to taste salt and pepper

Instructions: 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Cook pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  • In a large saucepan, cook ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
  • Add marinara sauce, Italian seasoning, and garlic powder to the beef. Simmer for 10 minutes.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine cooked pasta, beef mixture, and half of the mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Transfer the mixture to a baking dish. Top with remaining mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses.
  • Bake in preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until cheese is melted and bubbly.
  • Let cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes:

Feel free to add vegetables like bell peppers or mushrooms for extra flavor.
