Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 1 loaf French bread cut into cubes
  • 1 cup Blueberries fresh or frozen
  • 8 Eggs
  • 2 cups Milk
  • 1/2 cup Maple syrup
  • 1 tsp Vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp Ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp Salt

Instructions: 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a baking dish.
  • Place half of the bread cubes in the baking dish. Sprinkle with half of the blueberries.
  • Layer the remaining bread cubes and blueberries on top.
  • In a mixing bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, maple syrup, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and salt.
  • Pour the egg mixture evenly over the bread and blueberries.
  • Bake for 45 minutes or until the top is golden and the center is set.
  • Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes:

Serve with extra maple syrup or a dusting of powdered sugar.
