Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 head cabbage, chopped
  • 1 can diced tomatoes (14.5 oz)
  • 1 can tomato sauce (8 oz)
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 cup uncooked rice
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper

Instructions: 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large skillet, cook ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
  • Add chopped onion and garlic to the skillet. Cook until softened.
  • Stir in chopped cabbage, diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, beef broth, uncooked rice, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  • Transfer mixture to a baking dish. Cover with foil and bake for 45 minutes, or until rice is tender.
  • Remove foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes to let the top brown slightly.
  • Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes:

Feel free to add your favorite spices for extra flavor.
