Instructions:
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add onions and cook until caramelized, about 15 minutes.
Transfer caramelized onions to a casserole dish. Add shredded Swiss cheese and milk, and mix well.
Top with bread crumbs and season with salt and pepper.
Bake in preheated oven for 30 minutes, until golden and bubbly.
Notes:
Great served with a side salad or crusty bread.
