Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 4 cups sliced onions
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 cup shredded Swiss cheese
  • 0.5 cup milk
  • 0.5 cup bread crumbs
  • to taste salt and pepper

Instructions: 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add onions and cook until caramelized, about 15 minutes.
  • Transfer caramelized onions to a casserole dish. Add shredded Swiss cheese and milk, and mix well.
  • Top with bread crumbs and season with salt and pepper.
  • Bake in preheated oven for 30 minutes, until golden and bubbly.

Notes:

Great served with a side salad or crusty bread.
