High Protein French Toast Casserole

Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 8 slices Whole Grain Bread
  • 6 Eggs
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 1 cup Greek Yogurt
  • 1 tbsp Vanilla Extract
  • 1 tsp Cinnamon
  • 2 tbsp Maple Syrup

Instructions: 

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Grease a baking dish with a little butter or cooking spray.
  • Cut the bread into cubes and place them in the baking dish.
  • In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, Greek yogurt, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and maple syrup.
  • Pour the mixture over the bread cubes, making sure all pieces are well coated.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the center is set.
  • Let it cool for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy!

Notes:

This casserole can be prepared the night before and baked in the morning.
