shredded cheddar cheese

Instructions:
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
Add the chopped onion and minced garlic to the skillet. Cook until the onion is translucent.
Stir in the cream of mushroom soup, beef broth, and sliced mushrooms. Simmer for 10 minutes.
Transfer the mixture to a baking dish. Spread the mashed potatoes over the top.
Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese over the mashed potatoes.
Bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Notes:
Let the casserole rest for a few minutes before serving.
