Instructions:
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a skillet, cook the ground beef and chopped onion over medium heat until the beef is browned and the onion is tender. Drain any excess fat.
In a large bowl, combine the cooked beef and onion, chopped cabbage, tomato sauce, cooked rice, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and cover with aluminum foil.
Bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes, or until the cabbage is tender.
Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes to allow the top to brown slightly.
Let the casserole cool for a few minutes before serving.
