Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 4 sausages preferably Irish sausages
  • 6 slices bacon cut into pieces
  • 4 potatoes peeled and sliced
  • 2 onions sliced
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • to taste salt and pepper

Instructions: 

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a frying pan, cook the sausages until browned. Remove and set aside.
  • In the same pan, cook the bacon pieces until crispy. Remove and set aside.
  • Layer the potatoes, onions, sausages, and bacon in a casserole dish.
  • Pour the chicken broth over the layers and season with salt and pepper.
  • Cover the dish and bake for 1.5 hours.

Notes:

For a richer flavor, you can add a splash of Guinness to the broth.
