Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 1 loaf French bread cut into cubes
  • 2 cups Blackberries
  • 8 large Eggs
  • 2 cups Milk
  • 1 cup Heavy cream
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 1 tbsp Vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp Ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp Salt

Instructions: 

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Grease a baking dish and place the cubed French bread in it.
  • Sprinkle blackberries evenly over the bread.
  • In a mixing bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, heavy cream, sugar, vanilla extract, ground cinnamon, and salt.
  • Pour the egg mixture over the bread and berries, making sure everything is well-coated.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes or until the top is golden and the center is set.
  • Let it cool for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy!

Notes:

Feel free to add a dusting of powdered sugar or a drizzle of maple syrup before serving.
