Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 1 loaf French bread cut into cubes
  • 4 Bananas sliced
  • 6 Eggs
  • 2 cups Milk
  • 1 tsp Vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp Ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup Maple syrup

Instructions: 

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, vanilla extract, and ground cinnamon.
  • Grease a baking dish and layer the bread cubes and banana slices.
  • Pour the egg mixture over the bread and bananas, making sure everything is well-coated.
  • Drizzle the maple syrup over the top.
  • Bake for 45 minutes or until the top is golden and the casserole is set.
  • Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes:

For a richer flavor, you can use half-and-half instead of milk.
