Instructions:
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
Grease a baking dish and place the bread cubes in it.
In a mixing bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, heavy cream, sugar, vanilla extract, and cinnamon.
Pour the egg mixture over the bread cubes, making sure all pieces are soaked.
Layer the apple slices on top of the bread mixture.
In a small bowl, mix together the brown sugar and melted butter. Drizzle this over the apples.
Bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes or until the top is golden and the casserole is set.
Let it cool for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy!
Notes:
This casserole can be prepared the night before and baked in the morning.
