sour cream

shredded cheddar cheese

salt and pepper
Instructions:
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
Boil the potatoes in a large pot of salted water until tender, about 15 minutes. Drain.
In a large mixing bowl, mash the potatoes until smooth.
Stir in the milk, melted butter, sour cream, and half of the shredded cheddar cheese. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Transfer the potato mixture to a baking dish and sprinkle the remaining cheese on top.
Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Serve hot and enjoy!
Notes:
This casserole can be made ahead of time and refrigerated until ready to bake.
