Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 4 large potatoes peeled and cubed
  • 1 cup milk
  • 0.5 cup butter melted
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • to taste salt and pepper

Instructions: 

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Boil the potatoes in a large pot of salted water until tender, about 15 minutes. Drain.
  • In a large mixing bowl, mash the potatoes until smooth.
  • Stir in the milk, melted butter, sour cream, and half of the shredded cheddar cheese. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Transfer the potato mixture to a baking dish and sprinkle the remaining cheese on top.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  • Serve hot and enjoy!

Notes:

This casserole can be made ahead of time and refrigerated until ready to bake.
