Instructions:
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
Cook the pierogi according to package instructions, then drain and set aside.
In a skillet, melt the butter over medium heat and sauté the chopped onion until golden brown.
In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked pierogi, sautéed onions, sour cream, shredded cheddar cheese, crumbled bacon, salt, and black pepper.
Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish and spread it out evenly.
Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the top is golden and bubbly.
Let the casserole cool for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy!
