Ingredients:

  • 1 lb Pierogi frozen or fresh
  • 1 cup Cheddar Cheese shredded
  • 1 cup Sour Cream
  • 1 cup Onion chopped
  • 1 cup Bacon cooked and crumbled
  • 1 tbsp Butter
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 0.5 tsp Black Pepper

Instructions: 

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Cook the pierogi according to package instructions, then drain and set aside.
  • In a skillet, melt the butter over medium heat and sauté the chopped onion until golden brown.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked pierogi, sautéed onions, sour cream, shredded cheddar cheese, crumbled bacon, salt, and black pepper.
  • Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish and spread it out evenly.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the top is golden and bubbly.
  • Let the casserole cool for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy!
