Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 1 lb Ground Beef
  • 4 cups Mashed Potatoes
  • 1 cup Chopped Carrots
  • 1 cup Peas
  • 1 cup Beef Broth
  • 1 cup Chopped Onions
  • 2 tbsp Flour
  • 2 tbsp Butter
  • to taste Salt and Pepper

Instructions: 

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
  • Add the chopped onions and carrots to the skillet and cook until tender.
  • Stir in the flour and cook for another minute.
  • Gradually add the beef broth, stirring constantly until the mixture thickens.
  • Add the peas and season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Transfer the beef mixture to a casserole dish and spread the mashed potatoes evenly on top.
  • Dot the top with butter and bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes or until the top is golden brown.
  • Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes:

Feel free to add other vegetables like corn or green beans.
