Ingredients:

  • 1 lb ground lamb
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup tomato sauce
  • 1 cup frozen peas
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 2 cups mashed potatoes prepared

Instructions: 

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a skillet, cook the ground lamb over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
  • Add the chopped onion and minced garlic to the skillet. Cook until the onion is translucent.
  • Stir in the tomato sauce, frozen peas, dried oregano, salt, and black pepper. Simmer for 10 minutes.
  • Transfer the lamb mixture to a baking dish. Spread the mashed potatoes evenly over the top.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes, or until the top is golden brown.
  • Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes:

Feel free to add some grated cheese on top before baking for an extra layer of flavor.
