Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 1 loaf French bread cut into cubes
  • 8 eggs
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 tbsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 cup butter melted
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tsp cinnamon

Instructions: 

  • 1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • 2. Grease a baking dish and place the cubed French bread in it.
  • 3. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, heavy cream, sugar, vanilla extract, and salt.
  • 4. Pour the egg mixture over the bread cubes, making sure all pieces are coated.
  • 5. In another bowl, mix the melted butter, brown sugar, and cinnamon. Pour this mixture over the top of the casserole.
  • 6. Bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes, or until the top is golden and the casserole is set.
  • 7. Let it cool for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy!

Notes:

This casserole can be prepared the night before and baked in the morning for a stress-free breakfast.
