Ingredients:

  • 2 cups All-purpose flour
  • 1 tbsp Baking powder
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 cup Shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup Unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup Buttermilk
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp Dried parsley

Instructions: 

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, and salt.
  • Add the shredded cheddar cheese and mix well.
  • Pour in the melted butter and buttermilk, then stir until just combined.
  • Fold in the minced garlic and dried parsley.
  • Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish.
  • Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  • Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes:

For extra flavor, you can brush the top with melted butter mixed with garlic powder and parsley right after baking.
