Instructions:
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a mixing bowl, combine the sliced squash, chopped onions, shredded cheddar cheese, and breadcrumbs.
In a saucepan, melt the butter and stir in the milk and Cajun seasoning. Pour this mixture over the squash mixture and stir well.
Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and bake for 40 minutes, or until the top is golden brown.
Season with salt and pepper to taste before serving.
