Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 2 cups sliced yellow squash
  • 1 cup chopped onions
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 tsp Cajun seasoning
  • to taste Salt and pepper

Instructions: 

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the sliced squash, chopped onions, shredded cheddar cheese, and breadcrumbs.
  • In a saucepan, melt the butter and stir in the milk and Cajun seasoning. Pour this mixture over the squash mixture and stir well.
  • Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and bake for 40 minutes, or until the top is golden brown.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste before serving.

Notes:

Great as a side dish or a main course.
