Instructions:
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
Cook the egg noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
In a skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and cook until softened.
Add the bratwurst to the skillet and cook until browned.
In a large bowl, combine the cooked noodles, sauerkraut, sour cream, shredded cheddar cheese, caraway seeds, salt, and pepper.
Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and spread evenly. Place the browned bratwurst on top.
Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, until the casserole is bubbly and golden brown on top.
Let it cool slightly before serving. Enjoy!
