Instructions:
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a skillet, cook bratwursts until browned. Remove and slice into pieces.
In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté onions until translucent.
In a large bowl, mix sauerkraut, sour cream, mustard, and sautéed onions.
Place the sauerkraut mixture in a baking dish. Top with sliced bratwursts and shredded cheese.
Bake for 30 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
Notes:
Serve hot with a side of mashed potatoes or crusty bread.
