Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 12 oz angel hair pasta
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 jar marinara sauce
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tsp dried basil
  • to taste salt and pepper

Instructions: 

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Cook the angel hair pasta according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  • In a large pot, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic, and sauté until the onion is translucent.
  • Add the ground beef to the pot and cook until browned. Drain any excess fat.
  • Stir in the marinara sauce, dried oregano, and dried basil. Let it simmer for about 10 minutes.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the cooked pasta, half of the shredded mozzarella cheese, and half of the grated Parmesan cheese.
  • Spread half of the pasta mixture in a baking dish. Top with half of the meat sauce. Repeat the layers.
  • Sprinkle the remaining mozzarella and Parmesan cheese on top.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  • Let it cool for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy!

Notes:

You can add some red pepper flakes for a bit of heat.
