Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 2 lbs Goat meat cut into chunks
  • 1 large Onion chopped
  • 3 cloves Garlic minced
  • 2 tbsp Vegetable oil
  • 1 tsp Thyme dried
  • 1 tsp Paprika
  • 1 tsp Salt or to taste
  • 1/2 tsp Black pepper
  • 4 cups Water
  • 2 medium Carrots sliced
  • 2 medium Potatoes diced

Instructions: 

  • 1. Heat the vegetable oil in a large pot over medium heat.
  • 2. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic. Sauté until the onion is translucent.
  • 3. Add the goat meat to the pot and brown on all sides.
  • 4. Stir in the thyme, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
  • 5. Pour in the water and bring to a boil. Reduce the heat to low, cover, and simmer for about 1.5 hours.
  • 6. Add the sliced carrots and diced potatoes. Continue to simmer for another 30 minutes, or until the vegetables are tender.
  • 7. Adjust seasoning if necessary and serve hot.

Notes:

This stew is even better the next day after the flavors have melded together.
